Steven J. Long, DC
Dr. Steve was born and raised in San Francisco. He comes from a very close family of 5. He has 4 sisters and 13 nieces and nephews. His three children, Sydne, Ian and Kyra and wife Lynnette are the most important things in his life.
He graduated from San Diego State University in 1989 with a degree in Athletic Training. This gave him a strong foundation in patient care and hands on healing. He attended Palmer College of Chiropractic -West where he graduated in 1992 with honors in Clinical Excellence. He is a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner(C.C.E.P.) which gives him added skill in helping athletes.
He practiced in the BayArea for 2 years before he and Lynnette moved to Colorado to open their own practice together. After living in Colorado for 7 years, Dr. Steve developed a love for the mountains. He has become a passionate skier and trail runner. He has now run a number of Ultramarathons, including the American River 50 Mile and the Miwok 100K. In 2008 he plans to run his first 100 mile race, the Tahoe Rim Trail 100.

Lynnette Long, DC
Dr. Lynnette was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has 2 sisters, 2 brothers and now has 13 nieces and nephews. Family has always been a very important part of her life. Her husband Steven and her 3 children, Sydne, Ian and Kyra mean the world to her.
She attended the University of California at Santa Barbara. She graduated in 1989 with a degree in Biopsychology. During that time she became a Certified Massage Therapist and also worked in a physical therapy clinic through an internship program at UCSB. After researching the science, art and philosophy of Chiropractic, Dr. Lynnette Long had found her calling. She attended Palmer College of Chiropractic-West and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
In 1994-5 she became certified in Chiropractic Pediatrics because she saw how children blossomed under Chiropractic care.
After grauating in 1994, Dr. Lynnette Long gained experience working at a successful clinic in Mt. View, CA before starting her own practice in Westminster, Colorado. After 7 years in Colorado, where she had her first child and enjoyed the "Rocky Mountain lifestyle," she and her husband decided to move back to the Bay Area to be closer to their family. Dr. Lynnette Long and her husband took over another practice in Palo Alto, CA before finally settling in El Dorado Hills in 2005.
